While the 85 km option demands sustained cadence and quick reflexes over a punchy itinerary, the 167 km journey requires deep stamina and disciplined pacing to endure hours exposed to the elements. Across both courses, cyclists encounter sweeping unpaved tracks, loose gravel, and dry dirt passages carved by relentless winds. The fast rolling profile allows riders to carry momentum, though fluctuating traction and dust make bike handling paramount throughout the day. The backdrop is the arid expanse of Los Monegros, an iconic European semi-desert environment characterized by broad horizons and dramatic open spaces. Grañén hosts the start and finish, welcoming athletes into the distinctive territory of the Huesca province. Organised by Klassmark, the event takes place on March 13, 2027, bringing competitors together in Grañén for a memorable off-road challenge.
