The volcanic terrain of the Canary archipelago creates an extraordinary environment where riders experience stark desert plains, rugged mountain crests, and dramatic coastal views. Organised under the banner of GranGuanche, the Audax Gravel presents an immense endurance challenge covering an 800-kilometre course. Participants tackle roughly 17,000 metres of climbing over diverse surfaces, featuring a 50 percent off-road split balanced by connecting roads. This demanding Audax Gravel route pushes cyclists across steep gradients and changing microclimates that require exceptional stamina. The adventure departs from Orzola at 13:30 on 24 January 2027, concluding on 31 January 2027. Registration to take part in this multi-island expedition is priced at an entry fee of €320.
